When you start your journey at City College Nottigham, your first point of contact will be your personal tutor. They’ll be an approachable source of advice to help you settle in and introduce you to college life.

Your personal tutor will probably be one of your lecturers and will be a link between you, your other lecturers, the various support teams at the College and your parent/guardian. They’ll be able to:

• offer you guidance, advice and support
• discuss your progress and agree targets to keep you on track – helping you to succeed and achieve your goals
• monitor your attendance
• keep in contact with your parent/guardian (if you’re under 18 when you enrol) regarding your progress
• support you with your next steps.
