The European Driving Computer Driving License (ECDL) is the internationally recognized qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. ECDL has been designed to recognize individuals’ practical skills in using information technology in carrying out straightforward tasks in a range of contexts. This is a follow on course from ‘Level 1 ECDL Essentials’, which further develops individuals’ knowledge, understanding and application of ICT for use at home and at work.

Improving Productivity.
This qualification is for learners who are existing/intermediate level users of ICT, or who have already accomplished a Level 1 ICT course and wish to progress to the next level, however, if you are seeking full ECDL certification, prospective students are advise to commence their learning with ECDL Essentials (see other information, below).
To achieve successfully, you should commit regular attendance. You must be aged 19 or over on 1st September of the academic year in which you enrol. This course is not suitable for ESOL learners at Entry Level or below.

All the 4 units must be achieved in order to achieve the ECDL Extra certificate. Competency in each of the modules is tested via on-line assessment under exam conditions. Centre assessment may be undertaken at any point during the course.
