At City College Nottingham we are pleased to provide not only high quality education, but support and guidance for everyone who studies here. Your wellbeing and success are important to us; experienced, professional staff are always available to help you and we hope that the facilities and services listed here will enable you to enrich and enjoy your time at the College.
Travelling to College
Bus – Alma Road bus Stop on Carlton Road (Stop SN02) and ten minutes walk from the City centre. View Nottingham City Transport for Bus timetable
Car Parking – Car parking spaces are available and provided free of charge to students and visitors. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bicycles – Secure storage for bicycles is provided and shower facilities are also available.
The Learning Resource Centre
The Learning Resource Centre has 20 open access PCs, all with internet access, Microsoft Windows 7 and Office. Black and white and colour printing and photocopying facilities are also available. In addition, there are separate Study area rooms.
The Learning Resource Centre provides information, resources and IT facilities to support learning and teaching including books, computers, WiFi access, magazines, newspapers and CDs. There is also a team of professionally trained staff to help with all your enquiries.
The Centre is open from 8.30am to 5.00pm Mondays, 9.00am to 5.00pm Tuesday to Fridays, during term time.
WiFi access
Wireless internet access is available in the library and at selected locations around the college.
Learning Angel’s day nursery
Angel’s day nursery is City College’s on-site nursery and holiday club. Our aim is to provide a welcoming, safe and caring environment, where your child can have fun, make friends and learn as they play. We’re open 0730 a.m. to 1830 p.m., Monday to Friday and offer full and half day sessions.
From taking their first steps, to discovering the joy of reading, your child will be nurtured and cared for as they grow and learn. a safe and stimulating educational environment in which children can develop their knowledge and skills at their own pace. We aspire to produce happy, well-adjusted and confident children by working in close partnership with parents.

Conference, Exhibition Facilities and Banquet Centre
The College has a variety of facilities suitable for the meeting and conference needs of businesses large and small. We have a 2 large halls with stage, either can be hired for Corporate Functions, Conferences Weddings, Seminars or other Special Occasions. The Suite can accommodate 600 guests in one sitting. Cooking facilities and an additional outdoor garden area is also available for use.

Sport
The College has an excellent range of sports facilities including a large indoor sports hall and a supervised fitness suite, containing cardiovascular machines and weight training equipment.
The KK Sports & Leisure Centre is situated within the college compound and offers a range of indoor and outdoor sports & leisure facilities including:
- State of the art Fitness Suite
- Sauna
- Sports Hall
- Floodlit Pitch for Football, Hockey, Cricket & Tennis
- Cricket Practice Nets
- Circuit Training & Boxercise Classes
- Many other outdoor activities

koolkids Indoor play centre
City College Nottingham offers an indoor play centre with cafeteria, available for children between 1-12 years. Open daily including weekends and bank holidays. Special occasions and birthday parties can be catered for.

Disability Access
City College Nottingham caters for many students from special learning needs backgrounds and students with physical disabilities. The College has the following facilities for people with disabilities.
• An access Ramp from the car park through to the main reception at the ground floor.
• Fully accessible toilets for people with physical disabilities.
• An accessible lift to all floors, making the whole building accessible for wheelchair users and other disabled students.
• Signage in big letters and appropriate colours for students with impaired vision.
• Staff has been given awareness training regarding people with disabilities.
