This privacy notice is issued by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), on behalf of the Secretary of State for the Department of Education (DfE). It is to inform learners how their personal information will be used by the DfE, the ESFA (an executive agency of the DfE) and any successor bodies to these organisations. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, the DfE is the data controller for personal data processed by the ESFA. Your personal information is used by the DfE to exercise its functions and to meet its statutory responsibilities, including under the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 and to create and maintain a unique learner number (ULN) and a personal learning record (PLR). Your information may be shared with third parties for education, training, employment and well-being related purposes, including for research. This will only take place where the law allows it and the sharing is in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. LRS offers a Learner Registration Service to allocate unique learner numbers (ULNs) which enable the individual to access a Learner Record Service. Individuals can opt out of sharing participation and achievement data with those organisations listed in section 537A of the Education Act. Learner Agreement

I agree to attend all timetabled classes regularly and on time (including tutorials and Functional Skills where appropriate.

If unable to attend I will let my tutor/the college know. *Please note - you may not obtain your full qualification if you do not pass your Math and English. I agree to complete assignments, attend exams and complete other work on time and talk to my tutors if for any reason this might be late.

I understand that this is a requirement for me to gain my qualification. I agree to abide by College terms and conditions for the payment of fees (if required) and understand that I am liable for the payment of all fees owing in line with the college’s fee policy.

From time to time the college may need to share information about your performance with your parents/guardians/carer in the interests of your educational process.

City College Nottingham reserves the right to exclude or refuse to enrol a student for academic or disciplinary reasons.
